[READ] Philippine Consul General in Seattle Receives the Republic of Korea Consul General
SEATTLE, Washington —- The Honorable Henry S. Bensurto, Jr., Philippine Consul General in Seattle, Washington, received today, 08 September, Consul General Chang Sung Gil of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in a courtesy call at the Philippine Consulate General in Seattle, Washington.
The two consular officials who recently assumed their posts, Consul General Bensurto in January 2026 and Consul General Chang in July 2026, had their first official meeting. During this occasion, they had a cordial and friendly exchange on various matters of common concern.
Consul General Bensurto expressed his keen interest to work with Consul General Chang and both agreed to work with each other. Both noted the active contributions of their diasporas to national development and to strengthen Philippine – US and ROK – US relations through strong people-to-people relations.
